Our new website is now live!
Firstly, whilst we are on our summer break, we are working hard behind the scenes to create an exciting programme of events for the coming year. Part of the activities behind the scene is to finalise our new website. We initially published the site just prior to our Annual Exhibition and continued to maintain it to see if it is the right direction for the club. After discussing it at our AGM, it proved to be popular with our members and the time has come to officially announce it here on this Blogspot page. The website is live and will be maintained by a club member in a newly created position within the club.

Moving forward, the website will be used to publish all new blogs and provide an online view of our forthcoming programme. This can better serve you and give you a fuller understanding of what life in our club has to offer. One long-term goal, is to both encourage existing members to stay in the club and, to encourage new members into our fold.
We are proud to continue our heritage as a non-competitive club, but the website will continue to enable the vast talent or our club members' abilities to be presented in two places. Firstly in our vast portfolio and secondly in our meeting blogs. Most importantly though, the new website will enable you to search through the blogs, to find examples of our handywork, or details of guest speakers.
In due course, this BlogSpot page will eventually be deleted, but initially, we are retiring the use of the blog, whilst leaving its archive online for you to see. This Blogspot has been an invaluable tool in the development of our club in the early years, as a place to showcase our skills, but the time has come to move forward with the times.
