Lacock Positive Meeting, 30th October

For this meeting we were Joined by Keith Thomson, who shared pictures of his trip around Scotland.  This was an interesting presentation and exemplified the efforts required to achieve landscape photographs.  This might be fighting to keep your feet as the wind whistles around your ears, or returning to the same site on repeated occasions to catch the "ideal" weather conditions.

The pictures shared here are all from one site, Callanish on the Isle of Lewis.  Keith stayed local to this site, and visited over 4 days, and these pictures impressively show the effect that the weather and light have on the photos.

Our next meeting will be held on 13th November, at 7pm, where we will be joined by another speaker - Mike Martin - whose title is “Shooting People”, from portraits to print, a journey into the creative process. Mike is an ambassador for Fotospeed and will bring examples of prints on different types of paper.
