Replication, Puffins and Cemeteries - you can't beat a varied agenda

It was a packed agenda at Thursday's club meeting, with the review of our 'replication' challenge, two talks and a new challenge one creative photography.

First up was our review of our replication challenge, which was to recreate, with our own interpretation, a famous picture or painting.  We had 14 photos submitted.

Our first example is Rose's creation of an Elvis album cover (OK it was a CD cover but seems more appropriate for Elvis to call it an album cover)

Next is Sue's recreation of Edvard Munch's The Scream.  By all accounts appropriate after their hire car broke down.

Julia's contribution was an interpretation of Monet's Charing Cross Bridge

Next was a an interesting presentation on Skomer (Puffin) Island by Amanda Gregory.  A group trip made by a number of club members for a few days

And then finally, we had a fascinating talk by Bob Bray, who for the last six months has been volunteering at Down Cemetery in Trowbridge to document the restoration of the cemetery.
