An enjoyable evening was spent 'travelling' around the Galapagos by watching and listening to a well-prepared presentation from our invited speaker, Alastair Chambers. Both his detailed observations of the varied fauna and flora there and his explanations of the volcanic nature of each island he had visited were fascinating.
